Let it be love.

Valentines Day is potentially a great holiday. A holiday all about love. Flowers, chocolates, pink frosted heart cookies, conversation hearts, valentines, secret acts of kindness, valentine parties, heart shaped everything, romantic dates...the list goes on. And its true, I can't get enough of the treats, I love them..

however...this isn't the best part of Valentines day. The best part of Valentines is having that special Valentine. The one that makes you smile no matter what. The one you love unconditionally. The one that makes your heart melt whenever you're around them. The one you can't wait to see, and can't bear to leave. That is the joy of Valentines. Love.

And the best part is that everybody has their own unique Valentine. All to themselves.
Now, let me introduce that special someone that lit up my week, and changed my life in a way I won't ever be able to forget.

Isn't she something?
Mary Mae. We are going to be best friends. She is perfect in every way. From her little fingers and tiny toes, to her big blue eyes and soft brown hair. She is a little angel. She has parents who have waited so long for her, and love her so much. And a family that can't wait to watch her grow. She has love. But most of all she gives love.

So my challenge to you today is to be like this sweet little Mary. Give love. Give love to everyone around you. Be that special someone that makes life just a little bit better for those around you.

Let the spirit of Valentines be something you share. Something you give.
Let it be love.

Wow Rachel, once again I am crying reading your post! She is a little angel full of love, we had such a special time together this week-even if we didn't get to sleep at the same house. Thanks for filling me with love, cause that is what it is all about!

Look at all her fancy outfits! (Not that I would expect anything less from Lisa...) My poor children...have I changed their clothes in the past week? Not sure. Well anyway, what a darling post Rach. Newborns have a little piece of heaven in them, don't they. Enjoy her!

PS...I know that "piece of heaven" comment sounds cheesy, cliche even. But I meant it genuinely. They really do!
