hump. day.

Words with friends.

Ever played it? It's kind of my new obsession.

But only when you're distracted. It's all about the inbetween moments. The car rides (as a passenger...come on now, I would NEVER words with friends and drive) to the mall. The basketball game you're not really that into. That one class that is SO boring (confession: I have yet to try this but I have no doubt that I will...stay tuned for results). That night you're waiting for the hot tub to heat up. That movie you are just a little bit too early for.

Those kind of inbetween moments.

So...you should try it. Because it's kind of like having a new favorite song. You know, the one where you want to keep listening to it over and over...but at the same time you never want to hear it just so that you don't get sick of it? That kind of a obsession.

....Did it work?

Distracting you from the fact I haven't updated in a month?

I was trying to avoid talking about that small little detail... but I guess the cat's outta the bag now. Shoot.

But the important thing is- I'm here. And I am happy.

Currently happy? Not exactly. Unhappy? No. Bothered? You got it.

Why?

You know those mall trips you take and nothing works out? Yeah. Sigh. Just had that. Forgot a receipt for a return. Didn't have the right size for an exchange. Oh wait... that happened twice. And then I almost let my sister down. And you know that emotional stress is always fun.

Needless to say, it's a blog morning.

Because all of that happened before 11:00 am. What a way to start a day, right?

But it's okay. Because today is still going to be a good day.

I'm going to see them...

I'm having dinner with these two beauties...

And I get to hangout with this guy....

Not bad for a hump day, eh? I'm pretty excited.
