UTAH STATE UNIVERSITYSo to kick off November, we took a trip to Utah State for the day. The three of us girls, me annie and katie. It was quite the experience. Lots of overly excited freshmen at USU..who were much older and cooler then us SOseniors (mind you, some of us were 18- the same age as the older/wiser/cooler freshmen...) however, it was well worth it. I am excited for college...a little worried about leaving my poor parents behind, but nonethless ready for the new adventure.
Besides that, not too much is new here. Just a typical day in the Henriksen Household...as a matter of fact- let me enlighten you.
A few example of the Henriksen Household.
morning prayer: Rachel. dinner prayer: Mom. FHE prayer: Dad. bedtime prayer: Rachel...and so the cycle goes. And that is only one day. Needless to say...we hear each other pray a LOT.
*Saturday Jobs.
[Job chart] 2008-2009.
* note: previously the house was divided equally among the children. NOWadays...it looks a little more lopsided.
Rachel: ENTIRE main floor.
Thanks! A clean house is a happy house:) Mom.
It’s never too late to be who you wanted to be.

~July/August~
Wow its been a crazy last little while!! I was gone most of July vacationing and going to camps, etc. And then Brad finally got home! It was a blast having all the family in town for his homecoming! He served a great mission and he is just as funny as ever. Lake Powell was a BLAST! And it was a great way to break him in to real life again. The water was great, and it was so HOT that we were in it many many times during the day. Little Noah got up on big blue and he was so cute! Mush came pregnant and all, and it was great to have the whole family united again. We missed Matt and Becca though!! August is now here, and I finally have the chance to catch up on everything. My last few weeks of summer are here and I have lots to do before school starts. My big senior year...phew here we come!

June 2008
This month has been crazy but fun! To begin with, school is out!! The day after school ended, I was already off to California for Michelle's graduation. That was a blast! The whole family was together, and it is always so much fun to be together. We stayed at the beach house, so we pretty much played on the beach everyday! We took the beach cruisers for a cruise, and visited the donut shop a few too many times... But after the trip to Cali- my mom and dad were off to new york- which meant PARTY! Lisa and Jon stayed with me, and it was really fun! We babysat Leah while Michelle and Scott were in NYC, and she is adorable! I felt a little too young to have a child, but I got some quality bonding time with little Leah. Soon after that- which was my most recent trip was girls camp! It was an adventure...we stayed in bear lake at "Camp Hunt." Yes, I thought of a fat camp when I pulled up too haha. It was run by boy scouts, which was really disorganized and the food was terrible. But we had a ton of fun anyway- because girls camp is always fun no matter what! And now I finally have a week to catch up...that is until I'm off again. July is the craziest month of all! I am just holding on to these last few days of JUNE! 32 days till Brad gets home :)
